How It All Started

From Catering to Community.

Tom had been catering fresh, affordable Mexican food for over 10 years before he was persuaded by his hungry customers to open Tom's Tailgate in La Mirada in 2012.

People were always asking him, "When are you going to open a restaurant so that we can eat your food ALL the time?" Well, 2012 was "when." And now you can get fresh Mexican food, catering, and the best chips you ever tasted every day.

With more than 30 years of catering experience, Tom brings decades of flavor and passion to every plate.
